A new baby planet is being formed

The image was captured by the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope in Chile, and it shows a planet forming near a young star called PDS 70 about 370 light years from Earth.

The planet, dubbed PDS 70b, was detected by an worldwide team using the European Southern Observatory's Very Large Telescope in Chile and its planet-hunting instrument, called SPHERE.

"These discs around young stars are the birthplaces of planets, but so far only a handful of observations have detected hints of baby planets in them", said Miriam Keppler, team leader, in a statement. But unlike Jupiter, whose temperature is a chilly minus-163 degrees Fahrenheit or so, this planet is far hotter than any planet in our solar system, Meyer said, with a temperature of around 1,340 to 2,420 degrees. That's depending on the name of the star in its orbit, PDS 70. Astronomers have been detecting planets beyond our solar system for a few years now, but this is the first time we have seen an image of that's not an artist's impression.

Protoplanetary disk or problog (eng. proplyd, protoplanetary disk) is a disk of dense gas that revolves around a young, newly formed protostar, which eventually formed planets.

In the featured photo, the dark region is actually the effect of a coronagraph, which masks the extremely bright light emanating from the star. These inner gaps have been known about for decades and it has been speculated that they were produced by disc-planet interaction.

Greenpeace drone, toy plane crash into French nuclear plant
According to company management, we are talking about two drones, one of which was intercepted by the gendarmerie. The latest stunt follows a series of staged break-ins by Greenpeace activists in French nuclear plants.

Liberty Island being evacuated because of protest against ICE
While the policy was abandoned, it is still unclear how and when some 2,000 migrant children will be reunited with their parents. The Statue of Liberty has always been a welcoming symbol for immigrants and refugees coming to the U.S.

Responding to Mr Rees-Mogg's comments, the spokesman said: "Our focus is on delivering the will of the British people". Earlier, May's spokesman said he would not comment on the speculation about a third option.

Although the planet looks close to its star in the image, it's 1,864,113,576 miles away. Analysis of this spectrum indicated that its atmosphere is cloudy.

The instrument SPHERE can measure the intensity of brightness at various wavelengths of the planet, which helped the scientists to decide properties of surrounding atmosphere. "Gas giant planets like this one form on a timescale of several million years, but they are hidden from view during most of this period due to the presence of the gas disk".

"The results of observations gave answers to complex questions regarding the birth of planets and their evolution", commented astronomer andré müller from the Institute of astronomy.

With SPHERE (which stands for Spectro-Polarimetric High-contrast Exoplanet Research), the astronomers could see young "features" in the star system of the young planet.
