Thomas Markle breaks his silence in freakish interview about Meghan and Harry

Harry's press office declined to comment on Markle's televised interview, which could raise eyebrows because senior royal figures are scrupulously careful not to comment publicly on domestic or global political affairs. "But I still like Harry".

"The hospital stabilized me... but after about a day and a half in that hospital, I said I feel better and I want to go and I wanted to check out now".

Thomas Markle told Good Morning Britain he deeply regretted not being there.

Harry had apparently led off their very first conversation by asking him how he was feeling.

According to palace insiders, the 92-year-old Monarch was adamant that the 36-year-old Duchess of Sussex sign a prenuptial agreement before she married Prince Harry, in order to protect his $500 million fortune. Like I say, I'm a footnote rather than the dad that walked his girl down the aisle.

Markle said he also discussed the US President with Harry.

"I didn't do this for money", Thomas said of the staged photos.

As a compromise, the CDU proposes turning away at the border migrants who have already applied for asylum and been rejected. An ARD poll on Thursday found that 62 percent of Germans believe refugees without papers should not be allowed in.

Adding that he was recovering well from his surgery, which saw him have three stents fitted, Mr Markle said he was "honoured" that the Prince of Wales took on the job of walking Meghan down the aisle instead. But I'm thankful for everything the way it went. "I was jealous. I wish I had been there and I wish it had been me", Markle told Piers Morgan and co-host Susanna Reid.

"I couldn't be more proud of those two, I think they'll do a fabulous job". "Our conversation was, I was complaining about not liking Donald Trump".

On the issue of Brexit, Thomas explained: "It was just a loose conversation about something we have to try".

Markle said, "She's wanted children for a long time". There was no real commitment for it.

'As long as they're happy and they have a great life and have some handsome children and do good things in the world, I can't ask for more'.

It remains to be seen if Harry and Meghan - or Charles - will speak to Thomas again anytime soon. However, Thomas noted that he'd agreed with Meghan's decision not to invite other members of their family to her wedding, saying that "she would have offended the others" who weren't invited.

He added that Prince Harry sounded "open to the experiment" of Brexit.
