Actress Mary McCormack says husband's Tesla shot flames in traffic

She posted a clip showing flames blasting out from underneath her husband director Michael Morris's vehicle. According to reports, passers-by flagged down the couple after noticing the vehicle had caught fire while in traffic, so they were able to pull over and get out (and film what happened next on Twitter). The heat appears to emit from behind the front driver's side tire, where red hot flames shoot against the pavement.

McCormick said that as of Saturday, she hadn't received a response from Tesla.

'No accident, out of the blue, in traffic on Santa Monica Blvd. She has been married to director Michael Morris since 2003.

"It was a normal Tesla". Firefighters were called to extinguish the flames.
